Home FRESH Hamburger Buns

Fresh bread is amazing! Lately we have been rocking the hamburger buns from scratch. After doing in a few times it seems really easy now. soooooo here is a step by step photo post on how to do it your self :)

:
  • 3 tablespoons warm milk
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon butter, softened
  • (egg wash: 1 egg mixed 1 Tbs of water)

Add yeast, water, milk, and sugar to a mixing bowl and let it hangout for a few min to get to frothy.

Add 1 egg, mix for 1 min with the paddle attachment. (using the hook at this point is a joke)

Add flour and salt all at once. and mix on low for 2 min with the paddle.

Add softened butter and mix for 5 min with the hook.

transfer that glob of dough to a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap or a damp towel.

RISE.

Section and roll  dough out into 6-8 balls  depending on how large you want them. Let them rise again!

Brush rolls with a egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds or whatever you like.

BAKE @ 375 for 15 min if you like your buns firmer in the middle with a crunchy crust. OR Bake @400 for 10-12 min if you like them a bit softer in the middle with a crunchier crust.
(@400)

                                    EAT!!!!

 enjoy :)
